В субботу ходили петь рождественские кэролс (как они по-русски называются?) Было весело. Толпа в 40 человек в трех разных тональностях кто во что горазд: SAAAAAANTAAA CLAAUUUUSS IS COOOOMING TO TOOOOWN Ну и далее по списку. Скоро обработаю фотки. Люди относились по-разному: кто подпевал, кто угощение выносил, кто ждал, пока все это поскорее закончится. Но в целом, все было оч. положительно, не смотря даже на моросящий дождь.

Надо будет на следующий год повторить.

В воскресенье на сервере перегорела сетевая карточка. А я думал, это в очередной раз у раутера мозги заехали друг за друга и пол-дня пытался его оживить. Купил новый раутер в результате (давно хотел это сделать), после чего-таки диагностировал карточку и заменил.

В воскресенье вечером были в гостях в детском саду. Кто бы сказал несколько лет назад, что я буду ползать по ковру в компании к учи детей и играть с другими папами в пластилин? Потом мы немножко побренчали на гитарах. Надо купить хороший самоучитель по бренчалову, а то я ни в дугу, ни в Красную Армию. Фоток, к сожалению, нет.

На прощание забыли в гостях Катину косметичку, что выяснилось уже только утром.

Saturday evening I went caroling with a boatload of people at a coworker's house. It was fun: a fourty-something strong crowd of people moving from door to door, bellowing out 'Santa Claus is Coming to Town' and other traditional stuff. Singing in three differnet keys (or more likely any way you could) and scaring people. Overall, people were very nice. A few pretended they weren't home, but others asked for an encore or gave us cookies and stuff. Photos coming soon.

On Sunday morning my NIC card died in the server and I spent half a day trying to figre out what's going on. Ended up replacing the router, and only then I noticed NIC is responding to only half the packets coming in.

Sunday night we went to a friend's house for his 2-year old's birthday party. If anyone told me several years ago that I'd be crawling on the floor with little toddlers and playing with plasticine with other dads - I wouldn't have believed it.

Then we did a little jam on electric guitars, but I sucked. I need to get a good book and a DVD on playing and jamming. Nobody took our photos again Oh well.

I got to see streakers during finals, too. They rushed from the Cal Den (bookstore) across the Sproul plaza towards campanille. Two guys.
Later I saw some Universtiy cops around Campanille looking for them. I don't think they were found

Just watched 'The Apprentice' finale.
23 years old, and so much done already. I feel like I'm fvcking wasting my life away.
But I already have 0 minutes of free time. How do these people do it?

Man. Shows like these are depressing me.
